We couldn’t be prouder to announce that our new guard house is complete! This classic low country style building features white painted brick exterior with slate roofing, gas lanterns, and the most state-of-the-art resident access and visitor management technology. This beautiful facility serves as a secure entrance for our residents and guests and seamlessly compliments the architecture of WaterWays.
Residents are loving our new fitness center in Ridgewood Park! This facility opened early this spring and features a great selection of cardio equipment and open space for wellness classes. It’s the perfect place for a quick evening workout or a morning yoga or “bootcamp” class.
On Saturday, June 9th, WaterWays residents kicked off summer with a community celebration at the new Ridgewood Events Lawn. The evening was sponsored by home builder Keller Enterprises, community landscaper Southern Ground, and the WaterWays Owners Association. In true WaterWays style, residents showed up to the event despite a rainy beginning, but luckily, skies soon cleared creating a cool summer night. Residents mingled and enjoyed a delicious barbeque dinner, complete with kona ice for dessert, all while the Justin Grimes played an eclectic mix of classic rock tunes that everyone enjoyed! One of the highlights of the night was the official ribbon cutting for the Events Lawn. Developer and CEO Doug Davis attended the event, but in a fun unexpected twist, he allowed one of the resident children to cut the ribbon. What a way to kick off summer!
Every First Friday of the month, we celebrate art, music, food, and friendship here at WaterWays. Our June First Friday event was a particularly special one - WaterWays resident kids displayed their artwork and live music by the Johnny Reed Band set the tone for summer fun. Food provided by Molly MacPherson’s food truck is always a hit, and a professional photographer captured photos of the kids with their artwork for a wonderful night to remember.
